Just seen some deer pictures..

I went to write my RPAL today, my instructor showed me a few pictures of a young girl (13ish) who just harvested her first deer with a crossbow. I volunteered to enter her in to the photo contest for her, hopefully I should be getting these pictures later today to show.
It is without doubt the biggest bodied deer I have ever seen, live or in a photo, 12 or 13 points with a massive drop tine. Her picture in the email to Bert was just saturated with pride, and understandably so.
Bert is calling her to get her in touch with me, I am proud of her and I have never even met her. This deer was taken a few miles from my house.

Bert contacted her, and her father called my home. I believe the father is going to post the pictures here. Time will tell, this deer is worth the wait though.
I am looking forward to seeing the photos again too.

Here are a couple of pictures of the deer you speak of. This is her second deer. She has also harvested a turkey. My daughter and this girl were born two days apart and I can't be more proud of the two of them and their accplishments in the field. This is truly a deer of a life time. Her Dad and I may just let them do the hunting from now. Enjoy the holidays and I hope everyone has a great New Year, Doug.

Since your near to David's neighbourhood, maybe she can point David in the right direction and a give him some deer hunting lessons or two.

That is a big deer (body!!) Great deer and the hunter and father should be very proud.

I personally have seen larger body size here in Ontario. Nothing i have harvested but first hand!! Awesome deer none the less
