HELP ASAP EQUINOX

just bought a equinox and trying to get the cheek piece off it seems really hard to get off. i took out the screw. is there some kind of glue on it? im left handed so i want it on the other side but im scared its guna scuff the paint off?

Just pull from the top it kinda snaps on.

Snaps on a bit hard too. I use a padded gluing clamp, works like a charm.

after i got it on the left side i think i really like the way it feels havent shot it yet but it feels good
