9 yr old Nephews first crossbow deer

Am going to try and post pics of his first deer with a crossbow. He is only 9 years old and this is his 4th deer but his first with a crossbow. Couple weeks ago I took him out for the Indiana Youth hunt and he shot this deer at 22yrds . He is too little to shoot my Axiom so I went out and got him a Inferno Fury got some carbon express bolts and tipped them with 125grain Rage crossbow blades for a total of 450grains. The bow is shooting 195fps he got both lungs and tip of the heart on this shot and a pass thru which inpressed me. Let him do his own tracking after giving her an hour plenty of blood to follow and it took him awhile but 40-50 yrds later we got her. "She's a dandy" he said to me when he found her. We are all so proud of him and made me feel like the greatest uncle in the world for the day LOL

We got him a Rossi muzzleloader 2 yrs ago only shoot 50 grains but it does the damage got an 8 pt last yr his mount should be done any time now will try and put pics on here of his buck Kid is a better shot than myself.

My boy is 8 and don't think he's quite ready. Still practicing with the BB gun, then the 22 mag when he's ready, then the 257 Roberts for next year maybe. Already have the 257 Roberts which is my Dad's old rifle with a new custom barrel. Will have to look into the youth model Xbows because he thinks my Excal is the greatest thing since jar peanut butter.

Took my nephew for his first game animal, a hog, for his high school graduation present a couple of years ago. That was pretty cool too.
