How many?

Post by Onetimeonly x--> »

In the short time that I have owned an Excal. I've been
hooked! Archery season has always been the season I
enjoy the most! In little time I have introduced my Excal.
to my friends who are now proud happy owners!
What a thrill it is to know that you hooked someone up!
The Excal. needs no help in selling, just one fine weapon!

How many people have you personally brought on board to
the Wonderful World of Excalibur. Recurve...Simply Perfect.

To date, only one, me, and that was after reading many customer reviews on the internet about limbs splintering, strings breaking, triggers and anti-drifire systems failing, this Plastic piece or that breaking, bows that were in for warranty repair when they should have been out hunting , and companies not wanting to repair engineering mistakes they made while rushing a product to market, and on and on. Then when I found this forum and followed it for around two years, I knew what crossbow was the one that I wanted--Excalibur. From now on, when talking crossbow with anyone I'll push Excal.

After I bought mine I have helped 10 people get them and have 2 more that are waiting to buy.
Just need to shoot it once and that is all it takes.

You're being modest. You and Mike were instrumental in my Excal decision. :D And I thank you. I'm trying to pay it forward.

I got my Vortex as the result of 2 friends talking about how much they like theirs. My hunting buddy neighbor has always been a compound guy but started liking the Excal when he saw how it shot and would put 'em down. Well, he didn't want to spend the $$$ on an Excal, although he can well afford it, so he bought a used Hoyt from a "friend". It didn't shoot too good and he didn't like the fact he had to shoot it into the ground to uncock it. So, he goes to the hunting sale at BPS with the intent to get a new crossbow. Duh, he comes home with a new Hoyt and does not like it any better than the used one. Can't see through the peep site in low light and it drops off alot after 20 yds. He's missed shots and has yet to connect on a deer. Sooner or later, he'll come around to Excal.
