Take the reply envelop for the AARP application, stuff other junk mail (without your name or address on it) in the envelop and mail it back to them. Costs them money & makes the postal service a few cents.
I called AARP years ago and told them to remove me from their mailing list. I still get just as much junk mail from them as I ever did.

Yea, but i heard that they had an unlimited supply of Dalton's String wax available for members because of all of it's medicinal properties and uses for old people! That alone might be worth the membership fee....
....Also, I rather get bothered by AARP then get a personal call from the local funeral home saying, "Isn't it about time we get together and discuss options and payment plans?"

Anthony,
I don' kow how many letters we have gotten from the local crematory.
My wife and I are both 64 and they seem like vultures waiting to dive on dead meat.

50?? You are a child still!
Wait till you get into your later 60s and the first thing you do when you wake up is make certain you are still alive.... Then you get up knowing that you have nothing special to do and all day to do it in... so you simply go hunting or fishing again...
