Just a quick question. . .

Post by Square_hammer »

So I was wondering what limbs would fit my matrix 330, other than matrix 330 limbs. Are they even interchangeable? Not that I would.be doing anything like it right away but would I be able to put stronger limbs on it and create my own monster? Also with excalibur being only an hour away would i be able to go and get limbs right from the factory? Or even limbs with a blemish in the camo? I'm sure someone here will have the answers I'm looking for. Thanks guys

All the matrix limbs are the same from the 330 to the 405. The difference is in the length of the rail.

So would the limbs from one of the other models work with my matrix 330 riser?

Yes, but the limbs will not be stronger. They are the same basic limbs. The speeds vary with the draw length.n

Sure but all Matrix limbs be the same poundage maybe a pt or 2 up n down on deflection #'s. The rail/mainframe length is where the poundage comes from

Oh okay I get it. I thought the power came from the limbs, learn something new everyday.

Occasionally rails from more powerful models may be available for sale thru the classifieds here as well as on a couple other forums. You can also try offering your 330 rail in trade for a rail from a Matrix 350,355, or 380... Trades similar to that are not uncommon among members.

In some cases as guys increase in age it makes the higher poundage bows harder to draw.  Rather than incure the cost of a new bow, or take "a hit" on selling their used one, they may occassionally trade down to a rail providing a lower draw weight.
