Fletching jig

Post by OhioXBowhunter »

Anyone use the Bohning crossbow tower fletching jig I’m wanting to get back into making my own bolts and want to try some different set ups on my bolts. Has anyone else used and had success with other jigs. I haven’t made arrows in a long time so some of this new stuff on the market is new to me. Any help or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you're using 2" vanes, the Arizona EZ Fletch Bolt is the bomb! Simple, fast and effective!

It works great but gets messy really fast. Use the Bolt jig, as stated it's very nice.

I also recommend one of these an arrow squaring tool if you are Making your own arrows it will tighten your groups.
I like this one as it can be used on a fletched arrow.

I use the G5ASD to square the shafts and the AZ-EZ fletch 4 degree right offset for aluminum arrows. (Link below)

I have fletched everything from Bhoning Blazers to 4" feathers and lots of others in between using Loctite super glue gel. Never a problem. If it gets gummed up from the glue a short acetone bath will restore it to new condition.
