Ranger Finder With High Magnification?

Post by Jcotrel1 »

Hey guys,

I'm looking for recommendations on range finders with higher magnifications and easy to read cross hairs and distance. I have a vision disorder and I'm looking for something a little more powerful than the standard range finder.

Thanks,
Jim

While 4x magnification is normal, there are a few models out there with 6x magnification. I haven't seen any that go higher that are dedicated rangefinders. There are a few scopes that have rangefinders built in that offer significantly higher magnification, but I'm not aware of any that are specifically made for archery hunting.

Good luck with your search. Maybe others will chime in with more information.

I use the Leupold RX-1000/TBR, it has 6x magnification, adjustable brightness and multiple aiming reticles to chose from. It is extremely accurate and dependable.

Not higher magnification, however, the one from AVYD https://www.getavyd.com/ does have a fairly large LCD display for the digits. It also projects a red laser beam when in use so would need to make sure it is allowed per the regs where you are hunting.
