I would really look at the GRZ2 Cocking effort is only 100 pounds draw wt 200 the G340 is 115 pounds cocking effort .

Did you try to cock the 308 Short at the store the other day?
Is it a height or strength issue for you XB?
The Axiom is height and weight. I couldnt try the 308 because it had a zip lock on it. The height seemed good though.

I see. I feel the same towards the BD400 in my basement currently. Not hard to cock but the last two inches the rope is nearly in my ears
