Am I asking too much for this package? I haven't even owned it 6 months and it comes with the Varizone package...scope, cocking aid...etc etc...and the bolts...6 NIB WASP broadheads...sling...etc etc...I was just curious.

Phoenix for sale

I am thinking about selling my Phoenix and buying a bow. I truly like the accuracy of the crossbow. The reason I bought a crossbow over a compound bow was because I like that it had a stock. I work in a gun shop with an archery department and after playing around with the bows in the shop, I realize...

I looked some more, but was unable to find him. I learned a lot today...on what not to do...I still cannot believe how close I was to him when I took the shot. At times the blood trail was pretty thick...and other areas it was a blood spot here and there...I hope to get another opportunity to make a...

lost my first buck with xcal

I have mixed emotions about today's hunt. I was wearing ASAT 3D suit and was sitting in a chair when a nice sized 8 pt buck came up to me...he walked past me and I took a shot within 5 yards. I couldn't believe he came this close to me while hunting on the ground. I hit him in the shoulder and the G...

Thanks everyone...I forgot to mention that I did not recover the bolt. I was planning looking for it today, but the rain was coming down hard today. I am taking the first two weeks in November off, so I am hoping to shoot my first buck.

Philly area is 5C...in 5C a person can buy as many doe permits as they want....there are a lot of does killed on the road because of all the traffic. I just harvested my first deer with an xcal today.

first kill with xcal

This is only the second year of deer hunting for me, so I was super excited to get my first kill with my Phoenix. I took the xcal into my part time job at a gun shop...to sight in the Phoenix...I wanted to make sure that I was sighted in correctly at 20 yards. It is suppose to rain here in PA for th...

PA's archery season started on Oct. 1st, but I felt it was a bit too warm to hunt...so I am waiting til it cools down a little...I am just happy to have my crossbow ready for the seaso...

Digger...very nice visuals...I keep on reading about the "robin hood" that occurs...I still haven't taken my new Phoenix out yet. I finally put the vari zone on it, but I haven't had the time to take some shots yet.

The Leica LRF is the preferred rangefinder. I think if you are just going to use the rangefinder for archery hunting, than a cheaper rangefinder will work for you. If you hunt during rifle season, I would recommend the Leica.

Hi AFISHIN, we are neighbors...I live in Pottstown, PA...been on this forum for a few months and I learned a lot by reading the previous threads. There is a shop near us called Woody's...it's West of Reading...guy has some good prices and is an Excalibur dealer. I bought "the right stuff" ...
