Re: Reducing scent
I don't have any experience bear hunting but for deer I like taking an unscented trash bag and put my hunting clothes in it along with fresh pine needles if I am hunting an area with pine trees. I will leave them in the bag about a week before hunting.

Re: Micro 335 warranty repair wrong ?
Getting 2''-3'' group @ 20 yards with field point. That kind of accuracy sucks and your bow is certainly capable of much better. Looking at the picture of checking tiller, that shouldn't effect grouping that much with field points. While your tiller maybe an issue, experience tells me that there mi...

Re: Are we nuts?
Very good thread with eye opening remarks.... deer taken at 92 yards, I'm sorry if this remark offends anyone but I wouldn't even think about shooting that far. I have more respect for the animal than to attempt that shot. My 335 is more than fast enough for me. The days of me killing deer with a re...

Re: Opinions Please - what to buy?
I shot the Short Banshee and was sold on it and had decided to buy one. Then I saw a Micro 335 Nightmare listed here and couldn't pass it up for the price. I saved myself about $250... Anyway, I am going to be 66 yrs old in 2 months. I am only 5' 10" and not a big framed guy. I have no problem ...

Re: CAMERAS ON CROSSBOWS
Are there any other members using different cameras??? Any other pics anyone can post??? I'm ready to pull the trigger on a camera and order a mount from Terry Munch but I would like to get some more input on what works well and what doesn't. I respect the opinions of members here but reading review...

Re: Arrow storage
Nice idea....I think it would work better for me if the length were shorter and width wider with several rows...but a very goodl idea though, and it looks great.....congrats

Re: 308 Banshee Short reveiw
A couple weeks ago Macrotech in Brooklyn Park, Md (410-789-7777 ask for LEN he is a really good guy) had one and he has a range to shoot it. Not sure where you are located or if he would be closer than the Pa shops that you mentioned. The price was $799 when I was there, same as just about everyone ...

Re: FYI, everyone is invited to Boofest
That sounds like it could be a great time. I am a member of the Shamrock Boat Owners forum and we do the same thing each year at one of the members house that lives in Emerald Isle, NC...... Meeting people you talk to on the computer can be a lot of fun and making good friends. Unfortunately the tim...

CAMERAS ON CROSSBOWS
There was a thread a couple weeks ago about mounts for cameras on crossbows, but my question is what are some of the cameras that you all use on your crossbows. I've seen posts about certain models not having zoom features and deer looking much farther away than they actually are.... Just wondering ...

Re: 308 Banshee Short reveiw
I shot the 308 Banshee at The Harrisburg, Pa Great American Outdoor Show and was very impressed with it. It was very accurate(only 2 shots but both were either touching or as close as possible as could be)quiet, sturdy feeling and the trigger felt very good... I would have liked to have fired it mor...

Re: Cat Whiskers
Happy Boo chimed in... I ONLY shoot Boo Strings. And I specifically request Cat Whiskers on all of them. https://i.imgur.com/JEL1wdD.jpg They look great, and I do think they dampen it down just a tad. The deer I have shot with those strings didn't seem to complain too much about the speed loss from...

Re: Cat Whiskers
Personally I really don't think that I would put them on a crossbow especially where I hunt. The woods are thick and all my shots are under 30 yards, so that being said the speed of the crossbow at that distance I think would eliminate any advantage of noise reduction from installing Cat Whiskers. I...
