Re: New Bucks at Church Buddy's Place
The other fellas need a few years in my opinion. I agree but the landowner has told me to take all deer I see. They have pretty much destroyed his landscaping and garden. Not a Happy Camper!! Bill I would just close my eyes when the youngsters came thru. :shh: Deer? What deer? I didn't see any deer...

Re: Micro 355 questions
Anybody out there with a 355 that could check out their limb retention bars to see if they are contacting the limbs or if there is a 1/4" gap between the bar and limbs??? Please? I checked mine. No gap. Brace height? Keep the string off the RES and you'll be fine. I have a Micro Suppressor. I ...

Re: Ozonics
I second that notion! Anyone ever use one of these contraptions? We hear so much today about "scent control" that I think we get caught up in the 'latest and greatest" thing to come a long. If memory serves me correctly, (not saying I was alive back then), but didn't Native Am...

Re: Ameristep 2 Man Chair Blind
I have one of these set up on one of the parcels of land I hunt on. They seem to work fairly well. I use a silicone spray to coat the outside to help with the leak issues. Seems to work fairly well. I take mine down after season. But I've had it a number of years without issue until a limb broke off...

Re: Still Hunting Hogs
Was on one of the places I hunt 10/19/19. The hogs had torn up a patch of ground that must have covered half an acre. They are a pest down here! I try to stick a hole in every one I see!

Re: Posting KEEP OUT
If you do encounter someone be courteous while getting your point across. You don’t want the encounter to develop into an altercation. There are some real crazies out there. Let Law Enforcement handle it. I have all my local Game Wardens numbers on speed dial. They respond very quickly if asked to....

Re: Posting KEEP OUT
I don't know the laws in AZ, but in Texas it doesn't require printed signs everywhere to "post" your property. Purple paint sprayed on trees, fence post, gates, you name it, is an acknowledged symbol of "Keep Out" here in Texas. It's even posted in the Texas Penal Code....

Re: To pee or not to pee
Believe it or not, but I have read a number of articles on this bodily function associated with "what deer think". Most Biologist tend to agree, human urine has no ill effect on deer behavior. I too have read where many old-time hunters actually peed in the scrapes they found and to hear t...
