Great Idea Joe!! I like the idea of it "standing up" rather than laying down flat. I've been using a 110qt Rubbermaid tub to store my stuff in for a few years, but it seems to always be in the way. :eusa-doh: I think the "upright" version of this is much better at taking up less space. And I like th...

I don’t take mine off so I guess I store them on my bow.
Hey Boo!!! I REALLY like that string you made for me!! It's on my bow, (where it too shall stay), and the "factory ones I have (2) are "stored". One in my backpack, the other in a drawer in my "junk room" as my wife calls it!!

Re: Storing Strings

What is the best way to store strings, i.e. just hang them up, hang with some tension on them, or just roll them up and put in a drawer? Bill Paper clip on the ends to keep them from untwisting and a baggie in a drawer is totally fine. .....X2! Yeppers, that's the way I keep mine too!!

Re: Aftermarket Micro Strings?

Micro's are tough on servings! Polishing will help. Go to Boo's website (Boo's Custom Strings), and it'll show you "how to" get the job done. However, it is my understanding, and someone may set me straight or correct me on this, but I believe a lot of the wear comes from the fact that the...

There’s only one thing that is totally true when it comes to this discussion, you cannot kill a deer if you’re not out hunting!
Dan...You said it all in that one statement!!! GET OUT and GO HUNT!!!!! You're not gonna kill that buck sitting in front of the fireplace watching football!!!

Re: Blood trails

I think it's part of our DNA, the ability to "track and find" our food gives us a feeling of accomplishment or satisfaction, of knowing we can "make it"! Primitive man had to follow game sometimes days in order to "collect or retrieve" his bounty. :eusa-dance: We are accustomed to "pulling the trigg...

Re: Never happen to me

Glad to hear you're gonna be okay!! And as Norm said, it's painful just to read the post. :( I had an uncle who hunted from an old wooden stand on his property for years. I was on him about either fixing that one or quit climbing!! He was 73 at the time. Well, you guessed it. The stand collapsed und...
