Re: The sky is not falling
I"ll keep my hardhat on too. Twenty three years working in the manufacturing side of the corporate world I can assure you Capital firm's first mission is to cut and gut. Those who survive will be expected to show "continuous improvement" in order to increase profit margin. In my humb...

Re: Who Misses The Old Bows
Here's my answer. Years ago, I sold my carved limb tip Vixen; I REALLY wish I had not done that. I was shooting 3D with mine. I took a lengthy hiatus from archery from 2004 to 2018, took it back up for retirement. When choosing equipment type, I looked at Excalibur, I was surprised to see the change...

Re: Replacement Limbs For Older Wide Models?
I got a very prompt response from Dawn at Excalibur, here it is; "If they are the REALLY old models with the old carved tip limbs, we would have to upgrade the limbs to the newer molded tip style as the carved are no longer available. To do so would be $100.00 for the set and you would also nee...

Replacement Limbs For Older Wide Models?
It is a hypothetical question at the moment but I was wondering if anyone knew if limbs and other replacement parts were still available for the older models, such as Vixen's and Exocet's.
My apologises if this has been addressed before, I did try the search feature w/o success.

Yes, I wondered about that.
Was not sure about parts availability for the older models.

Excalibur Current Models Best Suited For 3D/Target?
My reason for posing this question is that my Excalibur experience is limited to 15 years ago, having owned a Vixen and an Exocet, I am not conversant with the advantages/disadvantages of the current models. (I should have kept the Vixen :( , it was a great "shooter") My interest is purely...

Re: String Life On The Lower Velocity Excalibur's
Thanks
I shot a Vixen and an Exocet for 3D about 20 years ago and I do not recall getting that kind of string life. Sounds like string materials have improved
Wish I had kept that Vixen

String Life On The Lower Velocity Excalibur's
I tried to search this w/o any success. Does anyone have any figures for an approx. number of shots a well cared for string will last on a lower velocity Excalibur, such as a Matrix Grizzly? I am sure there are some varying numbers out there, just looking for approximates. I am assuming the centre s...

Re: Composite Frame vs Aluminium Frame?
Thanks the only thing that wares out are strings and you can reserve your strings your self on a recurve bow with out going to pro shop. Yes, that's one of many things I liked about the Vixen and the Exocet that I had for 3D years ago. I would be out on the course and see a compound shooter, crossbo...
