Re: Grizzly Tigger

So the fix is Excal will send all Grizzly owners Trigger Tech's? Never understood the pre-load fascination that some hunters have. Didn't TenPoint go thru this same issue? What ever happened to people buying a bow and using & shooting it how it was designed. People used to pre-load to get a bett...

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

Excal states 350gr at 400fps. If you go heavier it will be slower but if you are not hitting the numbers with the company specs it will only go down hill from there. You should get "close" to what you pay for! Why post any specs at all if there is no baseline.

Re: Bulldog 400 Chronograph Results

Back in the day when Excal's were "bulletproof" these conversations rarely took place. We talked about which arrow/broadhead combination works best...which string to use before this obsession with speed! More speed more trouble! No one is ever satisfied. I do agree that if you pay for 400f...

Re: Reflex/Hologram Sight on a Crossbow

A fellow I hunt with has been using one of these on his turkey shotgun rig for years with great success. Could just be the difference between brands. His is a Sightron and it done not give off any frontend glare. After hunting yesterday we tested it! Thanks for all the suggestions & input.....I'...

Re: Excal Tact or Hawke Map 1.5 ?

I like the TactZone. I have two of them & they preform well. I have heard some owners complain of focus issue but I personally have not encountered that problem. I do believe the Hawke is less expensive so that may play into the decision as well. Try & take a look at both scopes and make you...

Reflex/Hologram Sight on a Crossbow

Just wondering if anyone has tried one of these sights on their bow? I hunt area's where magnification is really not needed and I like the single point of aim! Any thoughts pro or con?

What can I expect?

I have an Excal Grizzly and I just put a new Boo Force 10 Flemish string on it! It is a great shooting little bow. I do not have access to a Chrony and I was just wondering what type of speed can I expect from 18" BEE's total arrow weight of 409gr. Thanks in advance for any input!

Re: Bohning top mount quiver bracket

I had one but did not care for it! It shot loose and I did not like the placement of the quiver. I prefer the Munch Mount set up! Just one guys opinion!
