My set-up--F.O.C. question.

I am using the gold tips that come from excalibur and wasp boss 100's. I checked the f.o.c. and it is 7.9%.I understand from reading on this board that a f.o.c. of 10-15% is were you want to be. So my question is if I use a 125grain broadhead will this bring me closer to the 10-15% f.o.c. Don't know...

The reasons I hunt with a crossbow.

Extended season,hunt at home,hunt on Sundays and crossbows are just plain cool!

But the exocet sits on stand-by and the Savage 99 comes out for a week of moose and a week of deer up at my hunting camp.

Yah most double sized ladder stands are rated for 450-500 pounds and are roomy enough for big guys like us.I bought one last year and love it.
