I know this was posted before but worth seeing again. This system can be incorporated into any crossbow by the right manufacturer.
Much easier than the guy in the previous video shooting flu-flu arrows.

Greywolf Keep in mind that the sabot or shot carrier will hold many sizes of shot. Up to three 44 caliber balls. The bigger size the shot, the more energy per piece of shot. Of couse the bigger the shot, the less shot you can shoot at one time making it more of a challenge. Also, if you look at the ...

jh45gun:

The bow will shoot standard bolt lengths as well without changing a thing.

I am sorry. When you work on a project for a long time, you tend to get a little defensive.

Sorry again, Jeff

Thanks Hi5. It's funny sometimes when people grab a negative thought from a thread and expound on it to the Nth degree. Or think that whoever writes a comment that it is directed to them only (take it too personally). There are also others who like different things that are talked about on these for...

Wow! You are mad!

I am not looking for anybody's support here. Just comments and thoughts. You have stated yours. Good for you. Most people have had praises and only a few have had negative comments. You do what you want and have a nice day.

mdcrossbow: For pictures, look on page 10 of this thread. Tom: I am sorry you take this so personally. When I write things, it is about percentages of all people and hunters or target shooters or people who want to be a target shooters or hunters. My words sometimes may reflect the idea that I am ta...

jh45gun: Wow, I really ruffled your feathers. I definately did not mean to and I am sorry if you took my post the wrong way. As far as regs go; Too many years ago, I had brought a version of this same concept built into a vertical bow. It shot the 6" arrow as well as the full length arrow. It h...

You wanted a third party. Try giving Gary Simonds a call. He was or is the head of R&D for Mathews and was the Head of R&D for Bear Archery. Right now, Henry Gallops is the head of R&D for Bear. They both wittnessed a 3/4" group at 60 yards with that arrow in the photo. That arrow i...

Stalker: Thanks for your honesty and your "best of luck". Bowtech is comming out with a 405 FPS crossbow. If fact, all bow companies are striving for better, faster and higher technolgy products. That's the American way of life. The sad fact is that most things in this country revolve arou...

Tom: As I mentioned in my last post that my TESTING was at 60 yards and is an unethical distance for hunting. The tests were conducted at that distance as a worst case senario. I agree that more pundage is not good and I am not using more poundage. As far as arrows doing more damage after they leave...

Gentlemen: First of all, with regard to the short arrow. When compared to a full length arrow/bolt of equal weight being shot from the same bow, they will have equal speed and energy. That's a rule in physics which cannot be changed. The difference with the short arrow is that it has so little surfa...

The 6" arrow you saw in the photo is 525 grains total weight shot from a 175 pound bow. Way more than enough energy to take any animal. And, it will not be the company that builds them the will push the reg change. It will be the consumer. Consumers do have the biggest voice in the matter. Than...

jh45gun Rules can easily be changed. They were when the compund bow came out. Some states have minimum arrow/bolt lengths because they feel if the arrows were any shorter, you could not get the string cocked far enough back to propel that arrow with enough energy to humanely take an animal. Such as,...
