That’s what I’m thinking, as well. I contacted Excalibur, who have asked me to ship the bow to them for evaluation.

Assassin won’t decock
I shoot an Assassin 360 which has developed a problem and I wondered how common it might be. There are no other issues with the bow. It cranks fine, shoots great - all seems well. However, starting earlier this year, I’m no longer able to decock the bow. I’m very familiar with how to accomplish this...

While I agree with the other poster that it could have been another hunter, I also will say that older bucks absolutely grunt louder and deeper than others.
I have heard mature bucks chasing does grunt so loud it startled me before.

Thank you, Boo. Should I keep polishing, in your opinion? Without taking the latches out of the trigger unit so that the contact surface is perfect or not, it is all trial and error. The naked eye isn't good enough but you can use a jeweler's loupe or an electronic microscope. So all you can do is ...

While much better in overall appearance, I can’t seem to get rid of a visible line on each side. It appears to be a casting mark maybe. Is this normal? Should I keep at it until...
