Re: Got me a Vortex Coming

This has been a fun thread for me to follow, since it all started back in July/August one day when a deal popped up on Craigslist and we decided to take the kids for a drive. I got it not knowing for sure what I'd do with it, ended up selling it to the guy that then sold it to xcaliber not long afte...

Re: Best Stock Excal Ever?

If I were restricted to only one Excal and had to leave it mostly stock it'd probably be one of the BD355/360's I see still available, but I'd be happy with a BD330 or BD380 also. But thankfully we're not restricted to just one. I like that my 327 Short is more compact than a BD, for most situations...

Re: How much for a Vortex?

Hey guys, I have the chance to buy a Vortex. Brandnew but expensive! The dealer wants 819 Euro. That is 975 US $ or 1270 CAD. Yes, it is expensive, but normal here! Is it worth the money? Or should i be happy with my BD330 and Short 308. This will be the last chance to get the bow here in germany. ...

Re: Cocking rope failure

UGH!! Wed., 11-14-20 While De-Cocking my Micro 315, at Dusk, it happened... I thought the x-bow had exploded! Cocking rope had some how came apart. Rope was only 2 yrs. old, so why would this happen?? I checked the limbs, and string. Seems ok... Next day, another thorough inspection...

Re: Got me a Vortex Coming

If that's the one I think it is, it's made the rounds recently. When I had it I drilled the stock to fit one of the adjustable height cheek rests, so if you want one of those from flightattendant100 you're already good to go there.

Re: Excalibur 2021

I would want an ultra short, ultra light, ultra compact Micro AXE based bow, in bulldog platform, with an ACP trigger as standard with a matte no gloss, no Camo, OD green finish. If I was picky, I would also ask for rubber dipped parts that matter, and an OD Green string too. That would probably be...

Re: Bulldog 440

That is a difficult question to answer. I have both and can tell you that the 440 is kinda rude and begs for a Flemish string and a heavy arrow. I haven’t shot it much (got busy). I am using a 21” arrow with a 110 gr insert and will move up to a 125 or 150 gr broadhead. I also have a set screw in t...

Re: Charger ext help (won’t retract)

Ahhh, kinda makes sense what you're describing.

I'm game for trying to get mine apart after hunting season. I can't rope cock my 327 myself so I need to keep my Charger together through Dec 31st.

Nice job by you and the Mrs!

I think that proper eye to scope alignment was what really helped nail that perfect shot ;)

I have a Cub and it seems like that model would be good as well.
However, Im not sure they make them anymore.
Oh yeah I forgot about the matrix cub. They're not in production anymore as far as I know, but that's probably new old stock you're seeing.
