Re: Ten Years?

Feb of 2019 for me, so 4.5 years. I remember prior to joining I was still putting protective caps on my string bumpers on my Vortex. Had always kept my brace height in between the lines since I got the bow in 2008, but on that one being in between the lines meant digging into the bumpers at rest (I ...

Re: Custom “Excaliburky 415”

Scrolling through the posts today and I was like hey, I have one of those too! 😂🤣 WS - sadly I didn’t manage to get in the field with any bow last season. My Aculeus 460 is first in line when I do hunt, and my Excalibur is pretty much just for backup. I shoot it every fall and it’s held zero every ...

Re: Mag Air stringing

Well it worked great. I put a narrow nylon cinch strap around my riser with a loop tied in it and ran the stringer through a steel loop on our truck lift; hooked the strap loop to the chain hoist and easily pulled the bowlimbs down to put on a new string. Next time I might try a "home version....

Re: Inner Workings of the Charger EXT

Tyler, I bet you tore an appliance or 2 apart as a kid🤣 All kidding aside, great video! Actually wasn't like that at all as a kid. Got into racing motocross at 15 and learned I liked wrenching then. But then that snowballed into whole bunch of stuff including an engineering degree and ada...

Re: Custom “Excaliburky 415”

This is the type of sceltonized product that l always say excalibur should produce . Start out with a drilled rail lightest possible guts etc. And give us options of 🪵 stocks/ plastic stocks / carbon stocks etc. So we can "customize " them as we wish. Hunters have been customizing since ....

Re: Mag Air stringing

Make sure you pull on the riser itself and not just the stirrup. Unless you want a bent stirrup. Ask me how I know 🤦‍♂️

Re: New Arrow Shaft from Black Eagle

Man, that arrow label reminded me of some of the best looking mx bikes, back when Universal Studios sponsored the factory Honda team and motocoss was my life then.

Re: Which current model?

I'd go the new Wolverine or Micro Extreme. Those models with the HO Limbs at 360 fps are barely feeling it compared to what those same limbs are doing on a 400TD or A400EX.

Re: Mag Air stringing

So the problem I have ran into, is even after pulling out all the loose slack after sliding the aid over the limbs, start pulling it back and you still take up over half the draw length just really cinching down the loops at the end of the aid. If limbs were fully removed and re-installed, by the ti...

Re: Mag Air stringing

I've ran into that issue before as well on my 308 Short. The 3 solutions I've come up with are first installing a longer string. Then reset the stringing aid shorter and finally install the new shorter string. But my easiest way is to put the Micro front end on my Bulldog rail, and use the crank wit...

Re: Micro Extreme Draw Weight?

100% the draw weight is over 200 lb. It is likely to be spec'd right about 280 like others have said. No micro's, not even the Mag Air or 308 Short have a draw weight under 200 lb. You need to go to the Matrix line to get under 200 lb draw.....and even there need to stick with Grizzly, GRZ2, Matrix ...

Re: Didn't need another crossbow but......

I want to paint that cheekpiece Coyote color or Wolf grey  Norm, you can wrap the cheek rests with vinyl wrap. Comes in all colors and all camos. Pretty easy to do w a hair dryer/ heat gun.😁 Do you have a link to that stuff? https://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Camoflage-Silhouette-Realistic-Camou...

Re: OT?/ Drought

Similar where I am at in MN. We went from May 1st until mid-July with less than 1" of rain. Finally got some measurable rains this past week though, but it is too little too late for all of the crops. Some seeds that were planted early May didn't even germinate.
