It's only hoarding if you used coupons.

Even still you have to pronounce them "coupins"
My parents God bless them. They also say COZGOES!

Re: Do I Have Enough Turkey Loads?

Received my Winchester Supreme Turkey Loads. I already picked up the Long Beard shells the other week. Look at the prices on the Supreme Shells $9.99 for the 3 inch and $13.99 for the 3 1/2 inch. I hate running out of shells. Now all I need is a Turkey tag. :eusa-think: https://i.postimg.cc/6QVNyCT...

Re: O/T Quarantine Day #7

Great operation you got going there. I have a cheap vibration tumbler. Works ok but I use powdered walnut shells. A little dirty.
Those brass are spotless. Very nice.

Re: Do I Have Enough Turkey Loads?

Which do you prefer #4 or #5’s? I have no idea yet! I just received my new choke the Paternmaster Code Black Turkey. I have not shot an of these loads before. When I go to the range I’ll take a bunch of pictures and post them. I’m a member of a range but will have to make some calls to see if the r...

Re: Do I Have Enough Turkey Loads?

I still have 12 gauge turkey loads that I don't care to shoot. I switched to a 20 gauge for turkey loads and slugs a while ago. You can have them if you ever come for a visit. Don I walked the NB woods behind pointing dogs for many years. I had 1 Springer who sadly got hit by a car at 11 months, I ...

I’ll never run of ammo for any of my firearms but I seem to be running out of time to use them lol.

Re: Do I Have Enough Turkey Loads?

That's a great price on a great load! Nothing wrong with them, just LongBeard XR gets all the media attention now. They drop totes too. Not pretty but it does the trick. Actually quite a few totes have succumb to a 3" #5 load to the chest. You'd need a seamstress to put the pelt back together....

I can just imagine a fellow my age won’t use these for a round of skeet. I’m not seeing anything on the NB webs...

Re: mossberg slug gun

I am not a frequent poster on here but do follow postings quite frequently. I have the Remington 870 with the cantilever mounted scope and have found accuracy is directly affected by the speed of the the sabot slug used. It settles in very nicely with slugs around 1500-1600 fps and will spray anyth...

Re: O/T Quarantine Day #5

Janesy I see you are using Varget, nice powder for sure. I have an older Tika M65 in 3006 that loves Varget and H4831SC. Have you tried the H4831SC for the Whelen? I just got the gear today to load for the Whelen. My other a whelen is a thick bush pump gun so I never bothered. It liked the corelokt...

Wow, sad indeed. I agree with others they should refund the $$.

I'm thinking our first ever Turkey hunt might be over before it starts due to this Covid.
