Nothing better than knowing that you are responsible for your own destiny. XB buddy. Your dad is way cool! I like him! :D Well said! I'm 62 my dad is...

Re: Multigenerational twist
Off topic (not crossbow related). So today, I went up to my folks to tell them I didn’t want to buy their house (1M$ house for a song—they want to downsize) and made up some excuses but the real reason was that I want to be my own man even if it is a struggle. It was a difficult decision and I came...

Re: Take care of your string, it's easy
A bit of info on string care. The first picture is what happens when you carry your bow on your shoulder. The fraying on this string is pretty bad and it didn't see much wax if at all. The second picture is what happens when you do not keep your eye on serving wear. The latch chewed through the ser...

Re: New Pro Shot ACP trigger loving it
Shooting a Bulldog 400. Replaced original trigger with new Pro Shot ACP trigger First time I have really had a chance to give the trigger a real trial. I have to say this tigger is amazing compared the original trigger. I shoot the new trigger In single stage. Starts to break as soon as I start squ...

Re: 2019 wisc. Elk applications
I put in for the New Brunswick moose draw last night. $9.55. The more years you apply and do not get drawn your odds go up. They actually put in more ballots into the draw under your name. I’m have 9 ballots. Here is a link. https://www2.gnb.ca/content/dam/gnb/Departments/nr-rn/pdf/en/Wildlife/E-Li...

Re: Nuisance Deer I’ll Be doing my part this Fall
I had a problem this spring with deer eating my tulips at night. It looked like they actually deep-throated the entire flower and stem, and nipped it right off at the ground! I sprinkled the survivors with cayenne pepper, and they were never touched again! Another thing that works is buy a bar of t...

Re: Take care of your string, it's easy
Could someone post a video of proper bow/string maintenance? There is always many so different ideas from many individuals. Wax the string don’t wax the servings, lube the rail, don’t lube the rail. Where do I oil the trigger? I would love to see an actual Excalibur video on this subject but I canno...

Re: Exodus Lift II Trail Cam
I have been looking at the Exodus for my next camera. It will be sooner than later, since I had a camera stolen recently  It really had to be a neighbor where I live and I even think I know probably who but any way. I tried to text Exodus with a question but never heard back. I wanted to know...

Re: Exodus Lift II Trail Cam
I don’t have any experience with the Exodus trail cams but I do put out a lot of them year round. I run 12 cameras where I hunt on public land. All in bear boxes and I can the boxes by glueing tree bark to the box on all sides except the back. I use a python lock, which u can find lots of 3 or more...
