Iwould never buy another compound crossbow , ihad two horton bows a legend 2 and a blackhawk 200#. had trouble with both the cable broke twice on the blackhawk and had a cracked limb on legend i had to send both back for warranty work. Have a couple of questions , do all excal. bows ha ve the same width limbs and take the same length string? Would flemish fast flite or flemish super string work on my new vixen? Im new to the game.

just bought a new vixen a few weeks ago i am shooting beman thunderbolts 20 inches long with 100 gr tips, they shoot 272 fps .they weigh 410 grains.does anyone know if this about normal? thank you.
