Hey Don!
I've been getting the same emails. Did a complete system virus check and found nothing on my computer. Glad to hear I'm not
the only one being contacted. Has anyone been in touch with
their web master?

It wasn't the rail fit that was the problem in the vortex. It was the fit between
the safety claws.

Re: Are 2317 shafts too big ??!!
A collegue of mine tried the same 2317 XX78's in his vortex and they were
too big! I presume they are too big for all the excalibur models, but would
like to be corrected if my speculation is wrong!

Re: aluminum/component/weight
I like Easton's XX78 2216 digital superslams armed with the 150 grain
boltcutters & fletched with 2" blazers using gorilla glue or loctite gel.
My 2216's are also nocked with the Easton "tracer nocks."

Re: At what point is a bow "too fast"?
Before my last renewal I had a PAL (licence to acquire) that in addition to the restricted and non-restricted categories included crossbows. To me that indicated a law had been passed but never promulgated because I never had to show my PAL when purchasing a crossbow. Does anyone know the current st...

Re: Curious who uses aluminum versus carbon shafts
I wish Easton would produce a 2219 XX78 digital aluminum shaft since I make my own arrows. However, the 2216 version works very well and gives me a 470 grain arrow which according to the Italian guys formula is practically perfect for the phoenix I use. My arrow is tipped with a 150 gr. boltcutter f...

Can't beat the 18-1 rinehart. Have been using them for years. I'd be interested
in looking at their block version as well.

Re: Warm boots?
Shoppers Drug Mart used to sell them, but I haven't seen them this year here in Northern Ontario. So
I just ordered more from Polar Wrap direct. See the link that Vix posted. They now come in an extra cushioned model
along with the regular original. They have worked well for me.

Re: Curious who uses aluminum versus carbon shafts
I use aluminum for hunting, carbon for 3 D shoots. By the way it's a myth that carbon arrows don't bend. In the picture below a lazer II shot out of a vortex is clearly seen to be bent. Boo has called it the "warping" of arrows" http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q32/mjs_015/Bentcarbo...

Black lights
Hey Pyd:
What makes and models of Black lights do you recommend? Many
thanks for the tip on their use for finding arrows. Are there any that help
with blood trailing perhaps after using that bluestar chemical?
