Excalibur Crossbow Forum

Our archery deer season opens October 3rd. But our fall turkey season starts with youth day this Saturday. Me and my youngest daughter will be in the woods looking to bag a fall turkey.

Good luck to everyone we cannot to wait to hear some hunting stories.

When I got Axe #1 it came with 6 Dragon Claw arrows. Dave makes great arrows. On Friday I recieved 6 Zombie Slayer arrows he made and have to say they are also excellent.

An ultralight is starting to sound like a necessity. I am going to start putting my crossbows where she won't be able to count em. Gonna hide the Excalibur boxes too. My wife said my next new crossbow will be very expensive. She said it better have a 1 bedroom furnished apartment attachment.

When I ordered my Axes from Wyvern I got Dragon Claw arrows Slick Trick broadheads and had him add a stringer for each bow. I put an ACP trigger in one of them and it's nice but the stock trigger is very good too.

I once missed 2 weeks of a month long hunting season because I had a compound crossbow that ate strings and was a pain to tune. I will never hunt with anything but an Excalibur. I have an Axe and a backup Axe plus spare strings and limbs. So many things can ruin a season why take your chances with e...
