Re: Axe on sale at Wyvern

I ordered a few vixenmaster strings to try on the Axes. I took the aluminum inserts out of my Quill arrows and replaced them with brass so these arrows weigh the same as my Wyvern Dragon Claw arrows. I am interested to see how everyone sets up there crossbows for there preferences and style of hunti...

Re: Shout out to Danny Miller

I read about Danny on this forum. When I needed his help he was just as described. First time you talk to him and it's like talking to an old friend.

Re: Mrs Hatchet's first kill

Mrs. Hatchet wanted me to thank everyone for your kind words. The children and I hiked up a couple streams today to gather fiddleheads. Tonight we had battered fried turkey tenders with fiddleheads and potatoes. Any of you have fiddleheads where you are? They are a type of fern. They are delicious. ...

Mrs Hatchet's first kill

This year my family has turkey hunted harder than ever. With everything being shut down we have had plenty of extra time to spend in the woods. My son got his first turkey opening day. Since then the Mrs. and I have hunted together a lot. All week we have been getting up at 4am and hunting at least ...

Re: FOR THOSE WITH AN AXE....ARRAs

Wyvern Dragon Claw 16.5 110grn brass inserts, Blazer vanes. With my new Axe I have been using the Quills it came with. In my opinion the Dragon Claws are a little more accurate than the Quills. I think it's the weight. Interested to see what the other Axe owners prefer.

Re: Axe on sale at Wyvern

RobD-Tommorow I plan to set my ACP trigger to two stage. I have no complaints about the factory Axe trigger. The Axe is the first crossbow I have been able to shoot free hand accurately. It is so much easier to shoot than my previous crossbows. This new Axe is a little heavier than the first because...

Re: Axe on sale at Wyvern

Mine now garnishes a Tact100 and ACP trigger and a Charger EXT for winding up for the pitch. Bumpers are now DrStirrup, and the string is a vixenmaster string. The string stars were left on the factory string, the exshits are gone, but the limb dampeners remain. It will be loaded up with Zombie Sla...

Re: Axe on sale at Wyvern

Just got the AXE and registered it . I noticed the AXe is off the product list replscrd by the MAG 340 in name only . I was just wondering how you plan to set your new Axe up. My first Axe has Dead zone scope and Dragon Claw arrows with 100grn Slick Trick Mags. My new Axe has Twilight Deluxe scope,...

Thanks for the info I just ordered one for my son for his graduation present. Best deal I’ve seen in awhile.

Re: Hunting show pet peeves!!

How about creative editing. Guy goes into the woods blows on a grunt call and the deer instantly march right in. Like he is the Pied Piper or something. We also thank God and the animal. Seems like the respectful thing to do.

Re: Axe on sale at Wyvern

Let me know what you think of the charger crank. I am thinking of getting one so my wife could use one of the Axes during this years archery season. This will be Maine's first year allowing crossbows during archery season. It would also come in handy when target shooting. After I rope cock this cros...

Re: Just a heads up

I just purchased one of these bows from Wyvern Creations. Didn't know about the Axe name thing but I suppose that this stuff happens all the time. Great price on a sweet bow. I don't think their are any rules against this kind of post. I have seen lots of posts mentioning doing business with Wyvern....

Axe on sale at Wyvern

Wyvern Creations is having a sale on the Excalibur Axe $499 delivered. I ordered one on Saturday and it was here today. I installed a Twilight Deluxe scope off my retired compound crossbow and sighted it in. Like my other Axe I purchased last fall it is a sweet little crossbow. After putting a few a...
