I for one think they are worth the money. They' re the only organization that I know about that advocates for hunters and anglers to the government on all sorts of issues from cormorants to moose tags. Runs all kinds of programs like WOW and youth events to get more people involved in hunting. Check...

I 'll have to agree with Huntman. PudelPointers are great all around dogs great nose for birds and fur, will blood trail ,good water dogs, good house dogs and shed very little if at all.If you're prepared to spend the time working with one for so many varied jobs. They have a great temperment too. Ev...

I like the 22-250 but I reload and it eats up a whole load more powder than the .223. I also like to keep the boom!! to a minimum where I hunt so tend to use the .223 or the 204. All that being said I shoot the .223 much better than the 22-250 just because there are surplus rounds available cheaper ...

I'm the same as you A.W. Right Handed -Left Eye Dominant . I just ordered a left hand vert bow to retrain myself and am looking at ordering a left handed varmint gun. I shoot everything with both eyes open and hopefully having the right (correct) tools will help things out. The only weapon that neve...

We're supposed to get a warm spell next week. Don,t know how that will affect things. The only geese I,ve seen since deer season have been high flyers. Most stubble fields that I hunt around here are covered in at least 2 feet of snow  . So it might be pass shooting with the 10ga . No point in ...

Yep One of the questions is if you are divorced and asks for your ex's name etc. and that your current spouse sign your application. I just got my restricted this past year and got my wife, boss and a friend (guarantors) sign the form so I could be checked out . Guess how many people they called to ...

I'm not a goose hunter but I think there's a season in WMU 94 until Jan 4
and another season in Feb 21-28 in Southwestern Ontario. If I'm reading

Is the string itself damaged. Why don't you just reserve it ? Your local archery shop should carry serving material. You don't need a serving tool if you have a way of keeping the string tight. When you take the old serving off just note how its been applied . It's really pretty straight forward to ...

Spined a late season buck at 20yds with my Vixen Deluxe from my hang on tree stand last year. I cocked from my stand(twice) quite comfortably and finished him off quickly. I lost 1 bolt and broadhead with the pass through but I,m glad I could load easily and safely in a stand . I don,t know if you c...
