You loyalists are the ones that compare a spare set of limbs to a spare tire. So the only way to try to compare apples to apples is the cost.

Re: Extra Limbs
I hear ya Paul....and I'll go you one better. I refuse to buy extra limbs and a riser. After all, I own five Excaliburs. That way each one keeps the others in check, so that none would ever dare to fail. First of all limbs are not even comparable to an engine in terms of price, more like a sp...

Re: The Kid doing his Euro Mount
He's doing a great job on that mount. Those pieces do typically fall off of them when boiled, as do the teeth. They are glued back in place when done being boiled with wood glue and allowed to dry together for a good fit. I do my euro skulls with bugs in the summer by burying the fleshed skull in a...

Re: Cracked limb on Axe update
I have been waiting 4 weeks for limbs for my Matrix 380. Has just ruined my hunting season. But hey I’m just one costumer who purchased and own 3 Excalibur crossbows. I bet there won’t be a 4th. Thank god I have back ups. Next out of state trip I take I will be sure to bring a back up. That way I w...

Re: 335 cracked limbs 4th set with new riser.
Sorry to hear this. I hope you don't get crucified the way I did when I posted about the cracked limb on my 2 week old Axe. How old is your Micro 335? Also, I see guys mention the "gen2" limbs for the micros. I have no idea what they are or if mine had them new. Are you familiar with them?...

My own little piece of dirt
Long post...sorry in advance. For the past 10 years I have been searching for my own hunting land. My goal was to have it before I turned 50. Then 4-1/2 years ago I was blessed with a grandson that intensified my search. I wanted someplace I could take him that would be our own. I had some specific ...

Don't know why some are saying pass. Perfectly legal in my state and the vast majority of others. Only thing I would pass would be a bolt through both lungs.

Cracked limb on Axe update
Since some couldn't play nice and had my other thread deleted, I thought I would at least give an update. Went by the shop to see where we stood on getting the replacement limbs (on my 2 week old Axe for those who may have missed it). I said I was there to check on the limbs for my Excalibur. He sai...

Nice!
I know at least one person will be upset calling it a toy though.

Re: 16.5" lighted quills opinions
Thanks for the replies and suggestions! I'm using 150 grain bolt cutters. Regarding foc with the lumenocks, I'm hipiy I should be ok???
Also, what is your source for the black eagles? I'm going to Google, but thought I would ask.
Thanks again

16.5" lighted quills opinions
I've read good and bad reviews on these on Cabelas, Amazon etc. Folks saying that the nocks push down into the carbon bolt and crack it. They don't light. They can't turn them off. Looking for some opinions here on the 16.5 lumenock. How do you turn them off after they light up? Any issues with them...
