Re: Phoenix Brace Height
The bow has not been strung since Christmas. We strung it about a week ago. the string is at the mark furthest from the riser. I would like to get it midway between the lines. If I twist it more it moves out of the lines, if untwist it anymore all the twists will be gone. It is the string that came ...

I have a Grounder Pounder Mount. I did not like loading the arrow between the mounting posts. The Wyern Mount you can load from the side.

Wyvern Creations Mount
I ordered the Wyvern Mount. The instrctions say to mount the adapter on the dovetail. My 2005 Exocet does not have a dove tail. I do have 2 drilled and tapped holes in the riser, but the adapter does not fit the holes. Is there any other options to attach this mount?

Fletching
I plan to make some bolts this winter. I have noticed that the new trend is to use very short fletching. I have always uses the 4.18 inch Flex Fletch vanes. What is the advantage of the shorter vanes? Should i put a helical or streight fletch. I have a Bitzenberger and a Arizina Ez Fletch they are b...

Need to buy a Excaliber
My son wants a crossbow for Christmas. The shop where I purchased my Exocet is no longer around. I am planning on getting him a Phoenix. I just need the bow, scopemount and a quiver mount. Everthing else I already have. What is a good mail order house to order one from? I live in Virginia. Thank you...

Do any of you use the 100gr Spitfire broadhead? I shoot a Exocet 200 with 22in Gold Tip II with brass inserts. I have been shooting 100gr Muzzy and need some more broadheads. I have a surplus of the Spitfires that I use with my compound. I have heard that the expandables will flash open with a cross...

Vari-Zone Help
I finally broke down and purchased a vari-zone scope. I shoot an exocet 200 with a fast flight string and according to my reloading scales a 430gr bolt. How do I determine how fast my bolt is going so i can set my speed dial on the scope. I do not have access to a cronograph. Does anyone out there h...

Slick Tricks
I am going to bite the bullet ans purchase some Slick Tricks for the upcoming season. What does everyone use the Standard or the Magnum. Will the 1/8 inch difference matter that much. I like the bigger diameter. I am shooting 100gr Thunderheads and they fly OK, but I want something that shoots a lit...
