Re: Why use the R.E.D.S. System?
Great information and since the R.E.D.S. reduce limb movement after the shot then it also would decrease some of the noise too. I'd like to see a side by side comparison of a Matrix with R.E.D.S. & 1 without measured by a sound meter. By the way most phones have an application for a free sound m...

Re: Put a leupold shotgun scope on my 355 hate it.
The Leupold Crossbones will be my choice to top off the 355 that I purchased from Big John for several reasons and a few are shown below 1. Big John proved that when topped with the Crossbones it was a tackdriver. 2. It will stand up to all the recoil any crossbow can give it & not lose it's zer...

Please share with us what benefit the VX1 has over the Crossbones other than being able to use it for your rifles.James Hutchison wrote:Thanks for the info enormous. Called Dan Miller and ordered the VX-1 2-7x33m with Heavy Duplex on his recommendation. Very informative 15 minute talk with Danny.

Re: another little adams county buck
He was MASSIVE. The succesfull hunter's smile says it all. Wish Oklahoma's archery season went to February 2nd as the article said. Ours ended on Jan.15th. My season didn't work out as I had planned. I was sick with the flue for a couple weeks but I still occasionally hunted. What do you see when yo...

Re: WOW!! A must watch video
Wonder how long they fought and how long the bigger buck had been dead. Must have been dead for a while since rigamortis had set in and he was pretty swollen & the smaller buck was worn down. Thanks for posting.

Re: Made My first Strings Today
Congratulations on a job well done. That is a useful skill that I need to pursue as well. What is the cost to get everything needed to make strings? How did you decide on what string to use? Where did you purchase everything you need to make your own? I guess I need to use the search feature to rese...

Re: My Exocet Crankaroo string broke while cocking.
I called and spoke to Danny today and he is sending me a new string with two hooks to replace mine. I asked him how difficult it was to replace the crankaroo string? He said if you can tie a knot, you can do it. He is sending it priority mail so I should get it by Saturday so I can be hunting again....

Great shot! They seem to always be moving so that was an awesome shot. Has a pretty pelt too. I keep hoping someday I can take one with my CB.

Re: fell out of stand...need help
You sure were lucky. They say if you hunt out of a tree enough, sooner or later you will fall. I fell recently when the limb that I was sitting on broke while I was hanging my treestand. I was wearing a safety belt but normally wear a safety vest but anyway it caught me so no harm done. Take care br...

Re: My Exocet Crankaroo string broke while cocking.
Thanks Boo. I don't know how I could be more truthful than just stating the facts. The cocker was screwed securely to the stock. I had been shooting without any problems numerous times today before the string broke. The string was on the crossbow correctly as well as the two hooks on the crossbow st...

My Exocet Crankaroo string broke while cocking.
I've got an older Exocet 175, which I bought new and I do love it. Today I was shooting it after eating my lunch and it was doing great. I use the Crankaroo and as I almost completed the cranking the strings on the crankaroo broke and my crossbow dry fired. I could only find one of the two black pla...

Now that is a fast and easy way to skin your squirrels. Keeps the squirrel hair off the meat also. Great little tool.
