Apple scent burner

A while back (couldn't find it in the archives  ) someone posted about an apple scent burner made out of coffee cans...

Anyone remember how that burner was built? I knew I should have printed that off... :!:

Thanks..

Along the lines of Diesel's post, has anyone tried the plastic bags inside the feebag/burlap sac homebrew targets? Wondering how dense that'll have to be to work with the Exocet @ 20-25 yds...?

You could check these guys out, they're in Gatineau:

Gobble N Grunt were excellent to deal with over the phone, and what they couldn't answer, they found out and called back. Sounds like they have moved into a larger store too. Great guys to deal with.

I had the exact same experience as Ecoaster. Right out of the box, just like Excalibur stated in their literature. Can't beat that! Still flies as true today as the day I bought it. Haven't changed a thing. :D

1462 + 18 = 1480. Dad brought me out at 14 to tag along and learn. 18 years later, its one of my greatest passions. :D He passed away on June 16th of this year. I will continue the traditions he has taught me, and wait for him at his watch....Miss you Dad, thanks for all the years of lessons, love a...

How does the bow know if there is a bolt in it or not?

I've never dry fired my Exocet, and never will based on what I've read in the manual.

My father in law dry fires his Wolverine all the time instead of de-cocking it... I should have a few good reasons to tell why not for this season..

Thanks.

Ecoaster, That's exactly the stuff I have now -Stearns - except my pants fell apart after two season. Not bad though, I think they were $50.00! Must have been a bad batch, sounds like my luck. The jacket is holding up, but it's a nylon lining, and doesn't breathe well. Thanks for the input! Cheers.....

ecoaster,

I didn't want to get into the whole scent debate - trust me, we're not going there again... I was hoping someone owned either of these products, or if they're worth the money :? ...

Just need a new suit, and wanted to make an informed purchase...

Cheers.

Rocky Scent IQ vs Whitewater Scent Lock

I've been doing some scouting around for a new camo suit for the spring through to fall and thought I would try something with carbon for 'scent blocking'. Anyone use either of these products out in the field? The Rocky gear is nearly twice the price, but I want to get something that will perform we...

Looks like I bit the hook.. :x hopefully they don't send me too much useless crap and expect me to pay for it. I'm never in a mood for that. Wish I could climb into the mailbox and pull back the envelope....

Hmmmm, maybe a stop payment for my subscription is in order....

Thanks for the link LoneWolf...

I'll have to check out the shop sometime. Looks good on the web.

I might be able to get a deal at Carp Sportsman Show April 7-9th. I bought my Exocet there two years ago from Big Al's and got a good price....

Dogs..

Excellent stories guys - always love to hear about them. It's amazing the impact these animals have in our lives. Until you've owned one, I guess it's hard to understand. Not a day goes by where I am not thankful for the companionship and good times my boy brings us.... :D His prey drive is pretty s...
