Re: Split rope
   How well you what you spend. : Are all half-moon nocks like that??? In essence they are all like this, those are more triangular, and there are more rounded, but in all of them there is a small space between the rope and the base of the plunger if you do not want to activate the li...

Re: Greetings from Spain
Good video. Thank you!
It is clear to me that the problem is in the point or in the arrow.
I could order arrows already prepared as it says but I want to learn a little before.

Re: Greetings from Spain
ON a hog, the quartering away shot is best followed by the perfect broadside. Straight up the leg, lower 1/3rd of the body will do nicely. I've found that taking out the vessels just above the heart plus bot lungs of course puts things down very fast. About your shot groups......do the arrows group...

Re: Split rope
Pablo, a lot of guys cannot admit they didn't seat the arrow which means they have a closed mind. You are open to it and that is a sign of an open mind that is open to learning. Closed minds are static, they do not learn. You'll do well! I thought I was setting it correctly, now I see tha...

Re: Split rope
Yes Paul... the nock needs to be "fully seated" against the string. If not, in my opinion it can cause a semi dry fire if not a full blown one. I take it those LED nocks are Lumenoks? Don't fret seating the arrow. You would have to shove that arrow pretty hard against the string to make t...

Re: I want to come out of the closet
So he knows what he is talking about when it comes to killing them cleanly. That's for sure, and they are very clear references to follow. A red dot can be shot with both eyes open allowing some pretty low light shooting. Don't discount it. I didn't know, I've never looked through a red dot. Thank ...

Re: Split rope
I was shooting a Swat and one of the nocks were lose (they are supposed to be glued in). Looking back, I think that may be the main error. I didn't glue the nocks, simply, since they fit well under pressure, I settled for leaving them like that... Why settle them if I always do it correctly, or so ...

Re: My 2022 Ohio Ravine Buck
There were times that I questioned my sanity of why a 72-year-old man would get up early in the morning to climb a tree and wait for a buck to walk by. I told myself the same thing every day. But in another situation... 30 years old, living in the capital, on the way to work sitting in the car i...

Re: I want to come out of the closet
Thank you very much to all. You are great guys!! For stalking, I think you want the smaller, lighter bow. You're going to carry it a lot and you're going to get close. I think the Magair and a good red dot is the way to go. I build (12) 460 gr custom arrows for a customer wanting a light weight carr...

How pretty are they both.
I have always really liked breeds with "wild" genetics, in addition to being aesthetically natural, they have a higher level of intelligence than more modified breeds.

I want to come out of the closet
Hello people. Going through old threads, I came across one that said: "you're not a real man until you have 4 or 5 excalliburs hanging on the garage wall" I immediately ran to the bathroom to see if my tail was still there. :wtf: I currently have an Assassin 400 TD (I haven't come out of t...
