Re: How Do I Fix My Exocet?

Thanks for all the replies and ideas. I ended up cutting a piece of 1/4" aluminum, marking it and drilling/tapping it. I had to tap it in place but I got it and it works :D . TC

Re: How Do I Fix My Exocet?

Had something like that with my old Wolverine and just sent it to Excal and they fixed it and sent it back with a new hat, no charge I'm sure they would look after me, they have in the past and I even got a tour of the plant by Bill. I'm only 1 1/2 hrs away from the plant so I may give them a call ...

How Do I Fix My Exocet?

I have an Exocet 200 which I bought new and have had for a few years. When I took it out for the first time this fall I noticed it was a little loose in the stock behind the trigger guard. I tightened it (or so I thought) but after a few shots it was loose again. I took it inside and dis-assembled i...

Re: deer cart

I just use an appliance cart I got at Can-Tire on sale. I just got a longer axle and larger balloon type tires from Princess Auto. I can wheel a 250lb deer out of the woods one handed (just not over the logs :D )TC Tried that...just before I bought a Magnum Deer Cart. Trying to keep a large deer on...

I really like the wenge but those would look great in cherry too! I'm a sucker for cherry though, we're even having new spam cupboards made of cherry :D

Re: Glue on inserts

If you use the "blue top" Gorilla glue you won't ever have to worry about inserts coming out  TC

Re: Trail camera's....best bang for your buck???

I have had very good luck with Wildview EZY Cams Can-tire has them on sale off and on for around $100.00/pair. Mind you the batteries don't last so you can figure another $40.00 or so for a battery and cable. However they take good pictures and are very easy to set up. I can send you some pics if yo...

Re: How To Remove Inserts

I've used heat with the epoxy that I normally use but this is a "super glue" so I don't think heat will work. I was curious if there was a solvent I could squirt up there. TC

How To Remove Inserts

Doing up some new Gold Tip bolts and in my haste I installed all the nock inserts (flat aluminum). After it was too late I remembered I wanted to try some Luminocks. Unfortunately I used Gorilla "Blue Top" adhesive. Is there a way to remove these or am I "SOL".

I bought some today anyway and tried it , works great. I use vinyl wrap and it even glued the feathers to it no problem. TC

Re: Good Fletching Glue

Does the Blue Top have to be applied to a damp surface like regular Gorilla Glue?

Re: Expandables for Excal?

Thanks for all the replies. It looks like the Rage is mighty popular and more importantly it works with the Spitfire close behind. My main concern with mechs and my experience with Jakhammers is what happens when it's not a perfect broadside shot? I've punched through more than a couple of shoulders...
