Re: What's in your "kill kit".
hunters in my area recommend a small bone saw. I don't think I would go out in the woods without my leatherman multitool.

Here's what the micro looks like in the Allen model#6017 Hybrid case. http://oi58.tinypic.com/2unwpq1.jpg http://oi62.tinypic.com/2n82zjl.jpg http://oi59.tinypic.com/16a8a68.jpg It comes with 2 movable velcro bumpers that you can stick to anywhere inside the case. http://oi61.tinypic.com/eakwgn.jpg

Back up camp tramp crossbow?
I'm looking for a 'camp tramp' crossbow to lend out to the boys or as a back up for myself.
The model can be used or new, without a scope if that saves me money (I have a spare scope already).
What's the most dependable crossbow in 250-300$ range?

Re: lighted nocks on Micro
I too bought the Nockturnal today but after reading some poor reviews, I was thinking of refunding them for a different brand? I'm not even sure if they will fit my 16.5 quills? Can anyone help with that question? How do I remove the metal nock insert on the back of this factory quill? The packaging...

lighted nocks on Micro
Which lighted nocks work best on the micro bolts? Is it best not to use a lighted nock so as to not complicate the package too much? Thoughts?

Re: What are you comfortable shooting with a 350GR bolt?
If I decide the go fixed blade route, is there a tangible difference between the plane-jane Muzzy MX3s and the Muzzy 'Crossbow' Trocars? The Crossbow heads are 70% more expensive! http://www.rusticman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IMG_2339-1024x490.jpg http://www.farmsteadarchery.com/images/product...

It would be cool if someone could post a video on how to mod the factory quills or how to mod an aftermarket bolt to fit the micro like you guys have done.

Re: WET!! STRING!!
30 06 outdoor products recommend waxing the entire string, including the serving. I don't see a downside to doing that, wouldn't that help the OP concerns?xcaliber wrote:There should be enough wax to keep from absorbing water to a point where accuracy is affected.

Re: riflescope on a crossbow
I'm planning on putting this scope on my Micro 335, with 100GR tips. I'm thinking a zero between 20-35yards.
Is the paralax giving you guys issues for those shooting rifle scopes?

riflescope on a crossbow
Can I put my 3200 Elite 2-7x32 scope on my crossbow? Could I zero it for roughly 30 yards and expect minute of deer accuracy? I was thinking that the top post could be roughly 10 yards, zero 30 yardish, bottom post 40yard ish at around 2x power??? http://media.midwayusa.com/productimages/880x660/Pri...
