Varizone Scope and range
When I got my Exomax a couple of weeks before the end of season (no luck by the way) I zeroed the scope at twenty, checked the speed and dialed scope to 349ish (according to the machine) and backed off to 30 yards. The mark on the scope was bang on! Don't have the room to try 40 or 50 easily but I w...

Looking Into The Future
I have had no luck this season. Partly it was bad luck, and partly it was bad technique. Let me explain. I used to hunt every single season with rifles for around 15 years while I lived in Saskatchewan. Most of the time successful. Then I moved to Winnipeg Manitoba and got married. Didn't know anyon...

GHA 33 Manitoba
Does anyone know that zone very well. I must admit to not knowing it. It has a shotgun/muzzleloader season due to start tomorrow and go till Christmas eve. If I can convince the wife, I might still be able to bag a deer this season. Is there alot of good spots there? Just a few? Does anyone have a c...

Partikle you are lucky. First, we can only hunt during muzzleloader/shotgun or high power seasons here in manitoba Good luck By the way, there is a late season for shotgun/muzzleloader only in GHA 33 here in Manitoba. It starts Monday and goes till Christmas eve. I already bought 1 archery tag, then...

Well so much for this season
Today is the last day of hunting this season. Gonna go out after church, around 6pm, but won't hold my breath. There will be very little legal light left. But I have had fun. Planning for next year I was hoping to find someone who will take a newbie crossbow hunter along on a party hunt next year. I...

Re: PSE Bruin for sale
I forgot to mention price. Paid 500 plus for the bow, 40 for the broadheads, 50 for the case, 100 for the sight, and 30 for the stabilizer, and 8 for the sling
Would consider anything over 250 canadian for the lot

Baiting in Manitoba
I have been hunting on some land owned by an older lady. Got her permission to do so of course. This Saturday, the second last of the season, I noticed that someone had put up a trough, made of rough wood, on the edge of the field. It had grain in it. The tracks from it go back across a small river ...

Got my new Exomax!
:D waited impatiently for the range to get it in, bugged them once a day checking on its progress. They were very tolerant. It came in today. Went down after supper to zero the varizone scope I bought with it fired on shot at 10 yards and it seemed high, but close enough to zero it for 20 yards with...

Exomax 225 specs
am taking the plunge. Was prepared to purchase a Barnett Quad-400 from SIRmailorder this weekend but talked to a owner/operator of an archery range in town. He talked up the Excalibur line and even let me try out his Exocet 200. I liked it, unfortunately, the available Exomax 225 was sold already. B...
