I use them, love them. They fly very well from my compound, and they stay together on impact. They leave a pretty wicked wound path, too.

Re: Pennsylvania Spear Chuckers
Ancient Spear Weapon OK'd For Deer Hunt in Pennsylvania http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/01/0124_060124_atlatl_deer.html ...........and why not crossbows?? Probably because the UBP is still vocally adamantly anti-crossbow. or as most of their members call them, crossguns. Of course, the...

Speaking of "come to the dark side," check these out.

I have a Sabre XL two cam model on order right now. Very smooth and quiet. The Iron Mace is also a very sweet shooting bow. And the price is very attractive.

Honestly, I have yet to buy a crossbow, though this may be the year. Spinal arthritis combined with a bum shoulder is making it more and more difficult to shoot my compounds. However, I have been hunting since the age of 12, I am 53 now, and started shooting a bow even earlier than that. That's a lo...

This will sound a bit trite, but honestly, the best bow to buy is the one that feels best and shoots best in your hands. I have shot many bows over the years, but the ones I still own are two 10 year old PSEs, and a 2 year old Bowtech. My next compound, if I buy another, will most likely be a Newber...

Thank you. I really appreciate this. As a newcomer to the field of the crossbow, this may be a big help. And no, I have not yet purchased one, but it is really starting to look like this will be the year. Even my doctor told me that she thinks it is time for me to switch over. Unless, of course, you...
