Matrix to RevX transition questions
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed hunting with my Matrix series bows (330, 355, and 380), and am looking at transitioning to a Rev X. I’ve got a “lifetime supply” of bolts made up of 16 3/8” Zombie Slayers, and from what I gather, this length should still work in the new bow. I know I’ll need to upgrade the n...

An interesting occurrence on the range . . .
This past weekend I was at the archery range qualifying for a deer culling program. An archer arrived with “coyote brown” Excalibur (don’t know the model), proclaiming he hated, just hated the bow, and that Excalibur’s customer service “had gone downhill”. The left hand limb was cracked, and he had ...

This “story” has been refuted several times, by several sources. The latest: https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/nih-study-shows-chronic-wasting-disease-unlikely-move-animals-people#:~:text=A%2520new%2520study%2520of%2520prion,elk%2520and%2520moose%E2%80%94to%2520people.

String breakage?
Has anyone had their (Excal) crossbow string break without warning? A friend had his let go today. The serving was in good shape (no sign of abrasion or cutting) and just “let go” when he shot it. I’ve never seen heard of this before, but I’m not exactly surrounded by crossbow shooters where I am. J...

Please also indicate if you are shooting over bait. Some of us aren’t allowed to bait bears, so am curious what impact that has.

Re: ANYBODY ON THE RIGHT COAST OF US EXPERIENCING CWD?
CWD is here in Virginia, in multiple counties that border WVA. I sat in on a CWD briefing earlier in the week put on by the Virginia DWR. According to them, CWD has also been detected in PA and Maryland. Of note is that deer can carry (and transmit) CWD for 18-24 months before showing symptoms of th...

Re: Who Misses The Old Bows
My Matrix 330 and 380 are my NEW bows!!
When I saw the subject line, I thought I was going to read about people missing their old ExoMags, and Phoenix “wide” bows!! As much as I liked my E-Mag, I do like Matrix bows better. There’s no cocking a Matrix without a cocking rope however!!!

Re: The little blasturds are out in full force
I pulled one off over a month ago after a day of coyote hunting. I didn’t worry about them when I was much younger, but after having Lyme disease 2X, and reading about the new tick borne diseases . . . Bad, bad juju.

Re: Best place to buy Matrix 380 parts
FYI, replacing an entire front end (riser and limbs) will require you to rezero your bow as well. I’ve removed and then replaced the (same) riser several times on different Excaliburs with no zero change, but in my experience a different riser will shoot to a different Point of Impact.

Re: 2018 ATA Show
I would find a “walking deer” aiming point at each range MUCH more useful than a 10 or 20 MPH offset personally.
