Here in Fl, I only use the hanging feeder on a timer. I use a 16 gallon trash can, which holds exactly 100 pounds of corn, and I have it set where it dispenses corn for five seconds every morning, adjusting the time that it throws according to sunrise. I get 2 months out of the corn, but I like to r...

Wal-mart sells the braided camo rope in 50 ft lengths that is just about the same diameter. I use it to raise and lower my gun, as well as the crossbow from my stands.

Went hunting this A.M., and with help from my nose and the buzzrds, found the doe. She was pretty far gone due to the scavangers, but she had only gone about 150 yards from where I shot her. We did not find her as she doubled back on the trail where I saw her go into the woods, going back in the opp...

Your opinions sound 100% accurate. She did indeed run with tail held high, and the blood was bright red that was on the arrow. I was in a 12 ft ladder stand, and I may have caught the leg or shoulder. I have seen no buzzards in the area, so hopefully she did live.

Sonic broadhead disappointment

:( First Day of bow season this past saturday, saw a beautiful doe, 20 yard shot, arrow went completely through, watched her run off, saw where she went into the woods and recovered arrow that was from end to end covered with blood. I could find no blood from the deer, and myself along with three ot...

Eastman tri loc blades

Are the three blade arrows any good? I found some that were discounted, but have not yet bought any. Would appreciate any input, pro or con.

Exocet purchase

I bought the exocet that Lynn-x had offered, and it was indeed in pristine condition. Now all that I have to do is get a target and some deck wax, and I will do some serious target shooting. I have never bow hunted before, so this will be a new venture for me ( I have hunted a lot with black powder ...

In reference to this bow, I am looking for one to buy, and I would like to know if the the limbs being different on this model are of any significant difference to the present models, or of just a different design. Does any have one that they can comment on? :?:

Simmons crossbow scope

Has anyone used one of the on their bow? They use basically the same retical that the other bows use, have an adjustable objective, and cost less than other scopes I see on the market. I have several simmons scopes on different rifles, and they are all great in quality.

Good price for bow?

Went to one of the local dealers today, and for a new Phoenix with scope, rope cocker, rail lube, six arrows with vanes, six field points, six muzzy hunting fixed blades, bow quiver, and extra string, he gave me a price of 750. out the door. This seems compatable with what I have seen on the internet...

According to the ad, they are "factory seconds, with minor blemishes". Considering that it has a camo finish, I wonder what constitutes a minor blemish to discount it so much?
