I do plan on hunting with it for moose and bear in the future, this is why I was shifting to the exomax. I have never hunted from a tree stand with my crossbow and I just picked up a vertical bow to use for that. From those who draw both the exocet 200 and exomax how big of a difference does the 25 ...

Exocet vs Exomax
I am going to get a new crossbow and anything but Excalibur I have learned is just dumb. My question is regarding the difference between the Exocet 200 and Exomax, what makes people go to the exomax? Is it that much better, I have been leaning towards it as I am already going to spend that much mone...

I have that same red dot on my crossbow at the moment. I will be picking up an Exomax in the summer and will move to the verizone, not because it is no good but only for help with point of impact at range. The red dot is good but in low light conditions it can overpower your sighting picture. If you...

That is the cheaper one, I am sure you would be able to convert to that setup by just opening up the bottom of the mag and fitting the box. You may also be able to find a cheap take off BDL stock from a model 700 and make it fit. Here is another place that has conversions but the price is a little h...

Wolverine stock
Does anyone know if the newer style stock will fit the old Excalibur Wolverine. My Dad uses this bow but the thing weighs a ton to drag around the bush, could you replace it with a take off from a vixen?

Thanks, I read some of the other posts and I tend to agree with the 50 yard deer being a no-no, mind you I know of people taking them farther but I personally would not try it. I was just trying to get a feel of what the 325fps and 225# pull mean in the reality of hunting, if it is really worth it. ...

Thanks, that is what I was looking for, I like to see the kinetic energy numbers as well. I do not plan on buying another XBow for a long time and I know the quality of excalibur will allow that. That being said I plan on hunting bear and moose at some point with the bow and going a little faster an...
