Hawke XB30 Scope
I have an Exocet 200 with a Vari-zone scope currently. I'm looking to upgrade to the Hawke XB30 scope. Magazine reviews seem favorable but I'm looking for real-world input. Before I buy, does anyone out there have experience with this scope? How does it compare to the Vari-zone as far as: Glass qual...

Carbon Gold Tip Laser II's , standard aluminum inserts, 100 grain Magnum Slick Tricks, standard string= 315-320fps over the chrono. It is very consistent out of my Exocet 200. Don't know what the total weight is of the arrow and broadhead. I replace the string every year as there seems to be a lot o...

Anybody use the Truglo "Trubrite" 1.5-5X Scope? I'm thinking of getting one and would like to hear from those who have one or know about them.

Best Red Dot scope?
In your experience, who makes the best quality, most reliable, red dot scope with multiple range dots?
I was looking at the TRUGLO model and the TenPoint model. Are there others? Opinions wanted. I just want a good one that will last, price is irrelavant.
Thanks!

Boltcutter questions, also my Slick Trick Buck
I just saw the Excalibur website advocating Boltcutter broadheads. 150 grains. Will they work on my older Gold Tip arrows? Anyone using the Boltcutters now? How do they fly and what kind of on-game performance are you getting? Thanks, Also, my 8 point from Wednesday night. Exocet 200, 100 grain Slic...

Shot October 31, 2007 about 5:30 pm. Exocet 200, 100 grain Slick Tricks, about 25 yards out from my tree stand. Walked and stumbled for about 35 yards and then fell over. On the hit, he just lurched but didn't really jump. Good double lung shot, I could see blood dribbling out as he walked off so I ...

Dissapator pads
I just re-strung my Exocet since taking it off after last hunting season. I noticed that one of the screw holes in my dissapator pads is stripped out when I was re-installing them. Does anyone know of a source for just the new pads? I see several places that sell the whole kit for $30 but I don't ne...
