My best friend, use him for my job as a contract hunter. Very good for tracking and wind scent, takes me right to the animal very quietly and indicates. I had a dry fire last year, told it like it was and was helped out big time by the team at Excalibur. The truth is allways better that been bitten in the but by lies. Good one Tye.

Bail means when the pig settles down while the dogs keep him there.

Scalding is a nice clean way. We do similar, pour a bit of water on the pig before flaming it, then scrape the hair off. It is scalding in a way. Then flame them again to get a nice brown texture. Adds flavour and looks nicer. Can do the same thing with a blow torch. This way a pig can be singed up ...

In New Zealand many people live for pighunting. Dogs are used to hold or bail. Usually a knife is used to stick the pig. Big time recreation here, Specialy bred pig dogs are used, not hounds. Goat tough only needs ten seconds in the clamp. The stick-on fletchings are faster than any glue on types. The Fletch-Tite glue takes longer to set up. There are some good things about this. That is an advantage I guess from a stand, I have never tryed to shoot lefthanded as all my hunting is from the ground. sounds a bit awkward but I will shoot some to see how it feels.

Im also a 1965 madel, 41 yrs.
Still manage to make a living from hunting, I hunt every second day between seven to nine hours a day shooting goats, very steep and demanding stuff but I feel fit for it.
