Good spot for bear !! I would shy away from the spray and rely on the thermacell ,those thing's have good sniffers on them. Glassing or over bait?

A friend of mine is a "pro Staffer" there as well, don't hold your breath, Good luck ....go for it ,I have a nice glass gobble stalker call, work's great ,it gives a nice tone to compliment my slate.

Better do your math again on bear population increases. -Sows have their first cub at 4 years old -Average litter is less than 2 cubs after that -The sow only breeds every other year. Take a look at a .204 ruger. A 17 is to light for yote's a 204 is pushing it. Many calibur's to choose from in between 17 hmr and 243. a versatile one is the 243 because it can double as a nice deer gun if you make it north a bit.

Try dealing with grizzlies their even more fun!! I don't worry about black bears, it's the habituated bear ( either or ) that poses a problem. And generally we are to blame for their habit forming way.

Pass the current budget, then take the summer off! By the time the registry comes up it will be 4 months or more. We still have an amnesty untill May 2013 it'll go.

Is that farm on the "S" bend at Luxemberg? send Shelbys dad after him. He'll get him. Have to use the nuisance bear card as there is no season for them down here.
