New Vortex

Although I originally was going for a Phoenix I bought a new Vortex and low and behold, when I ordered the "Right Stuff " package I did receive the new 150 grain Boltcutter broadheads and 150 grain target points. This bow is extremely accurate and with the crankaroo it is very easy for me ...

Mikej, You hit the nail right on the head!! Unfortunately, after 6 operations for 2 broken backs and a broken neck, driving has become a thing of the past. I take unlimited amounts of morphine just to keep going. A drive to Cheshers would be like a drive to Vancouver, as any drive further than about...

Excalibur Crossbow recommendations

Fairly new to Excals but not to bows and crossbows. This question may open a hornets nest but, man, am I ever having trouble getting good info on what is, or could be, the best Excalibur crossbow. Live in a small town with an Excal dealer that knows diddly squat about the product. Everytime I ask a ...

Ontarians Only Question

Getting a lot of different answers in regards to permits for crop damage for farmers in Ontario. I know we , as hunters, can buy up to 7 permits for deer in certain areas where crop damage is being caused. The question is this; can farmers charge us a fee for shooting deer on their land if the Ontar...

I can't speak specifically to the Amersistep because I have not used one but I can tell you that my buddy bought a cheaper model than mine and was he ever sorry. No room, fell apart first time used and leaked. After 3 years of using mine, I paid $150 Cdn. I have absolutely no regrets. Wished I had b...

Sumner, As a joke against the Feds!! Think of the time and money expended to ensure we comply with P/C. Broken down is just that, broken down and we just keep moving along with our Excal's, having a good time. Being a retired Canadian diplomat, I can assure you that somewhere along the line everyone...

Free Education For Excalibur Marketing

Federal Government of Canada nows tells me that I am no longer disabled! From now on it is wrong to call somebody disabled or handicapped, so get with it stupid people!! Stop insulting us broken down folks. We are now classed as " Differentially Enabled". So, if you see me using a crankaro...

I assume you are talking about the ground chair blinds unlike some of the other postings that indicate ladder blinds. Sorry if I mistook your question!!

Have used one for 3 years and think they are great! Take your x-bow and make sure the size of blind is big enough for your bow. The cheaper chairs are not worth buying, they fall apart quite quickly. Spend the extra to get good quality and you will be very happy. Some are even scent proof now and th...

2 types of red dot. One has only one dot the other type has 3 dots which work the same way as the scope does. U should know that most red dots are not magnified. Also, the dot size is usually as large as 6 m.o.a., while some can be as small as 3 m.o.a.. Have never found a red dot at 1 m.o.a. Better ...

Crossbow Minimum Bolt Weights

Newbie to Forum with a lot of questions. Am waiting for my new Phoenix and have to make decision on what package to buy. It seems to me that confusion exists in that Excalibur recommend a minimum weight for the bolt including broadhead in order to avoid limb damage, but at same time are selling thei...
