I just tried mounting mine and found that they were too long and that I'd have to push my brace height back to even get them installed. To make matters worse, one of my posts was too wide to fit in the hole on the bracket! The STSArchery.com has been down for a while and nobody has answered my email...

Ditto except I think my Wal-mart shooting stick was only $8. Must have been on clearance!

I also use the Tracers. I thought I'd hate the magnet, but I've never had one fail to light up and I find it far superior to the Lumenoks on my vert bow that I have to wiggle out a little to turn them off.

Love my Lodge dutch ovens. I've got a 14" flat bottom one for the spam and several different-sized ones with legs for camping. My dad uses a cutoff shovel handle with a J-hook at the bottom to lift his lids off when camping, but I find that too unstable and I hate risking ashes from the lid fal...

My initial thought when I saw this was that it could be rough on the limbs, but these STSs are used *extensively* on vertical bows. If there was a problem with them damaging limbs, I don't think they'd be so popular on archerytalk.net or huntingnet.com.

It's not JUST noise. The stoppers will also keep the string from oscillating up on to the riser. That ought to save some wear on the strings.

Thanks for the update. Have you installed yours yet? I'm just holding out to make sure that the brace height is adjustable before I buy one. Thanks!

STS for Excalibur

Has anyone seen this ? It says "STS", but I couldn't find any sign of it on the STS site . I've got an STS on my vertical bow, and I'd definitely be willing to spend that much on one for Excal, too. Just thought I'd check and see if anyone else had tried this particular product out yet and...

I have both foam and bag targets. I'll never, ever shoot a target tip into a foam target again. It comes out of the bag MUCH easier.

The soft case is good for carrying turkey decoys. It's the perfect size for a foam fan-tail!
