I purchased my Exomax in March of 06. I included the right stuff accessory package. I experimented with couple of different mechanical broadhead, but changed back to the wasp fixed after mixed results with the mechanical broadheads. I got my 10pt with a 155 score @ 35 yds and will be sticking with t...

Let me share my learning experience last weekend. Only the 2nd time turkey hunting. I am using Zwickey Grapplers and a pop up blind. Had a gobbler come by and took a 20 yd shot & the turkey flew about 10 ft up and straight back down, then ran off. Waited 30 minutes and searched the direction it ...

A lifelong friend of mine lost his battle with cancer this week. At his funeral service, the following poem was part of his program. It had a big impact on me and I thought I would share it with you. "Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothi...

Thanks for the head's up on the recall. I only feed my dog dry dog food, but I will make sure anything on the list doesn't make it to the dog bowl.

I purchased my Exomax last April from www.outdoorsexperience.com I was new to archery and was comparing the Tenpoint to Excalibur. Their website is excellent and I called to ask a number of questions. All I can say is they had the best price and were excellent on service. I have made a number of pur...

Age 50. Still can't believe how fast I got here. 25 years ago I started deer hunting with a bunch of guys in their 40's & 50's and was the youngest of the group. Can't say that anymore, I take several teenagers hunting with me now so they can pull the deer out. At least I have learned something ...

I have a Summit Viper and ordered a gun rest a couple of years ago. It was plastic and broke within few weeks. I never bothered to replace it because to me it is just as easy to rest the gun or crossbow in the stand.

Tye, I agree its a choice only you can decide. I always prefer hunting from a climbing tree and only use a ground blind as a last resort. Do you use a climbing stand?

I would opt for what works best most of the time.
