Blur, nice job. I'll bet the weight of the hickory damped the recoil and noise didn't it? Did you do the inletting by hand or did you use a router? Also, did you come up with the stock template on your own? Dan

Benny, I just bought a set of "Non-Typical Rapid Rails" They are quick and easy to put up and take down. So I leave my stands in the tree and just take the rails to where I'm hunting. Their only drawback is that they are a bit pricey @ US$100. I got mine at BassPro, but I've seen them at C...

I've used the API Bowhunter climber for the past two years & have been fairly happy with it. I haven't used other types so I can't make relative comparisons. The main drawback is that it's a bit of a hassle to put the stand on the tree in the dark. It involves putting pins through the frame and ...
