Thanks for all the responses. The reason i am looking at the etrax legend is wal mart has it on sale with the topo map cd for $150. The one I have now has no map, no colour and can’t hook up to a computer. So anything is an up grade. However I really want to be able to plot trails on to my computer....

slings

Hi guys quick question.

How do you attach a sling to the front of your xbow? There is a spot at the back to hook on to but nothing at the front. Am I missing something or just a part?

That's a huge influence on our planet. To think that a force that powerful is limited to only moving water seems wrong. That doe...

solunar tables

Seen this in another thread but didn't want to change the subject of that one. How many use and believe in solunar tables? I don't necessarily follow them but try to see what times are predicted and compare them to what i see. So far they seem to be winning me over.

Wind direction?

When I get to my stand the wind is blowing the right way for me (away from were the deer should be coming). However that's when the wind starts to play games. First it starts to tug-a war (going from in my face to from my back), then it starts to swirl (from in my face, to from my right, then from b...

stolen groundblind

Whent out for to hunt grouse this afternoon and thought I would look in on my groundblind. Well it was gone. I realize that this is a risk you take when on public ground. I just don't understand why someone would take something thats not theirs? Has anyone had simaler problems? What do you do to pre...

I use a hip quiver because I don’t like the extra weight or anything that can get caught up in brush in trees.
