I have had great luck with my 50 cal Thompson Center Black Diamond.
Now matter what brand you chose you will have to play around with the charge and bullet. I use a Hornaday 300G XTP 44 mag bullet with 100g of Pyrodex.
It will crush a deer!

We now have a 2nd generation Excalibur hunter. I am glad that some products are still made that will last for generations!

I use 100gr spitfires out of a Exomax.
Works great on the Block target.

I up graded to a exomax this fall from a old exocet 165 and I love the Exomax!!
I would keep the Phoenix get a Exomax.
The only thing better that an excalibur crossbow is 2 excalibur crossbows.

Target works great.....Thanks for the information.

I like my Stealth cam Model STC-WD2-IR it is a infared, a great camera for the money. Cuddebacks are a great trail cam go with the infrared. I spooked this deer with a flash cam.
