Re: Hydro Dipping questions
Strum I have been looking into it as I am doing a custom rail for my Micro nightmare. I was also talking with Boo on this and recommended Type III hard anodizing. Google it and you can read up on it. It was used widely on military gear very hard and durable. that's great but finding someone to do t...

Re: OT- Looking for Info on Ibeam
Dennis, I'll bet the steel co. that you buy the I-beam from has an engineer. If not they ought to. The good part about reading up on it before contacting a steel company's engineer, you will have an idea on what is required so you don't get the wool pulled over your eyes, (not saying they would do ...

Re: Crossbow fasteners-keeping them from oxidation
Paul do you have the specific sizes you picked up, I know I could take them out and go to fastenal to purchase them. But if you have the sizes that would be perfect.

Re: first time buyer; which model?
OK thanks guys, I will be picking up a Micro tomorrow. I might not have access to a target range though before making my broadhead purchase. Please tell me if I got this straight. If I use 100GR broadheads that will be putting my totally weight @ around 367GR? With 367GR bolts I will be closest to ...

Re: Excalibur Quill
The new Micro comes with 4 quills at 16.5", I cut mine down to 15.5" as I didn't want my broadhead sticking out past the stirrup. I know some have gone shorter to 15, personal preference. I have tested mine out to 30 yards and it is dead on, haven't tested an longer yardages due to weather...

EM 405 Chrono Test New Limbs
Went to Excalibur last Thursday to get the limbs replaced on my EM 405 as there were small splinters on the inside of the limbs. The guy that was doing the warranty work was excellent, he said he had never seen it before where the limbs had splinters on the inside of the limbs and was a new one to h...

Re: 18" diablos from micro 335??
If you use a longer bolt or quill it will stick out past the stirrup, which can snag onto anything it comes in contact with. If you have a broad head on it will stick in the dirt asphalt or concrete, which can destroy the head, make it dull. You want it long enough so that when you go to de-cock you...
