To smart for his own good.
There is a nice little rack buck in the area I hunt. Early in the season I called him and a much bigger buck out. I was waiting for the big guy to get into range and out of the quartering to position. That little guy knew something was wrong and split taking that big guy with him. My first encounter...

A few days later they found him in a local quarry (filled with water cottages on it) They think he was fighting with another deer and end up in the water he dro...

A few questions:
What if anything do you use to remove scent from your crossbow. I was once told to use peroxide. What do you use to remove wax from the rail.

Who is using a heater in the hunting blind in the cold?
I build a plywood blind this year and have been seeing lots of deer from it. I want to get a heater for in it.
I would like to know how many of you have heaters and what type do you use and if you have had any problems with them. Do they spook deer?

As it gets cold the deer need to eat more to stay warm. A few years back I was seeing more bucks in the last part of December over food then any other part of the year. Eat good dress warm and don't sweat on your way in. Get out there and you will get a deer. Hunting is like fishing your not going t...

Weather you hunt with a bow or a gun it can and will happen. The news as of late of hunter being shot by other hunters is a hard pill to swallow fo...
